One more self-indulgent nostalgia music video. In the mid-90s my high school had something of a garage sale/swap meet and I got this compilation cassette from the early ’90s for a buck or two. It had some really cool songs on it, including this one, by a talented, but short-lived SoCal pop-rock band. I liked the spoken word element, though I still wonder what “the thing” is.
Material Issue — Kim the Waitress
Oh my god, how I did forget how much I love this song? I used to stop everything I was doing when this would come on the radio. The video is 19 years old and this is the first time I’ve seen it. And it takes an … unexpected turn at the end. Bless you, internets.
